Is Ferien Expert a Timeshare Operation?
Ferienexpert is a travel agency registered in Spain. We sell high standard holiday accommodations worldwide through our trusted, credible partner network.
We have access to a wide range of resorts and hotel spaces worldwide, which is normally accessible to private club members only. We do not sell timeshare, so no maintenance fees or any kind of club fees are involved. You are simply taking advantage of the high standard of the existing resorts and hotels on offer in this sector.
Can Ferien Expert only offer holidays in Gran Canaria?
No, due to excellent value for money our best selling resorts in Spain as shown by your personal representative and the available resort collection of the Richvale Group in Tenerife and mainland Spain.
If customers decide they would like to book accommodation they are able to meet there own personal representative on site, who will take them through a wide range of future holiday options worldwide.
What are holiday certificates?
A Holiday Certificate is simply a way to secure future vacations at current prices. Valid for 365 days from the date of issue and for one weeks accommodation, this can provide our customers with exceptional value for money.
Any future price increases will not affect our customers and by using the certificates they can access a wide variety of resorts worldwide at a time to suit them.
What is holiday plus?
Holiday Plus provides our customers with discounted rates at a wide variety of hotels worldwide. It is a product we have been authorised to sell by the Connex Group, who has extensive experience in the travel and leisure industry. With Holiday Plus customers can book extra nights at associated hotels for city breaks and last minute holidays. It has become a very poplar addition for our existing customers.
What if we have booked and then cannot travel due to illness, work commitments or other issues?
If you were unable to travel due to illness then you would simply be asked to provide a doctors certificate for verification and you would not lose your holiday. We are an understanding company and realize that illness is not something that can be foreseen. Simply contact your personal Travel Expert when you are feeling better and they will rebook your holiday. For work commitments or other reasons, we deal with customers on a case by case basis.
Can we book half board, full board or all inclusive?
This depends on the resort, but if they provide these options or any other facility then the choice is yours. You would need to pay the extra charge by the resort, but your Travel Expert can find the best deal for you if you prefer a resort with catering options.
Are there any fees other than those quoted to us by Ferien Expert?
There are no hidden costs or maintenance fees to pay, but most holiday resorts do ask for a refundable deposit for any unusual breakages that are not considered to be accidental or through general use. Some resorts may charge additional fees for some of their facilities, but any resort fees will be made clear to you by your Travel Expert as they will be within the terms of the hotel or resort you choose.
